Yes you heard that right, unlike most remakes MediEvil instead of just having a remake, Medievil embraces its origins and includes what those remakes should have as in the original game so we can compare them and also have some nostalgia trips along the way. I played it and to be honest I'm kinda disappointed. Mainly because it plays really clunky, the camera moves all over the place, there are severe performance issues with the particle effects (don't even step into a fountain of health or your FPS will tank) and there are a few elements that may or may not be nitpicks, but that I didn't really like: the annoying flashing every time you hit an enemy, the constant fog around the level, and the narrator every time you read a book. Call me negative. I've never in all my years of playing MediEvil gotten stuck so many times, in so many places. Especially Cemetery Hill. All of the artists, musicians, composers, everyone involved did such a great job, except for whoever was in charge of making sure you aren't constantly getting stuck on things.
